lakeside cabin to a secluded beach house or an apartment in a city. On the app, you can browse through these listings and book your stay or save some of these listings to a wish list you can refer to the next time you are travelling.
Booking.com
If you are hard-pressed for time and need a last-minute booking, then Booking.com is your go-to app. Using the app is easy-peasy, it also has a large collection of hotels and other lodgings to choose from and some of the best deals you can ever find. But the app has two unique features; it is flexible, so you can cancel bookings at any time. Moreover, some bookings allow you to pay
at the time you're checking in, so you get the chance to see your lodging before parting with your money.
TripIt
This app helps you keep tabs on your travel itinerary, so you don't forget or leave out anything important. It organizes your whole itinerary into one master
document, which is easily accessible in one location. All you need to do is send all confirmation emails for your hotel bookings, flights, car rental and others to the app's email, and you are good to go.
TravelSpend
Are you the thrifty type? Then you can check or track how much you are spending on your vacation with TravelSpend so you save money. This app is
good for budget or long-term travellers who want to have fun without overspending.
Google Maps
Sometimes looking for places in a new country can be like looking for a needle in a haystack - totally frustrating! So easily find your way around the places you travel to with Google Maps. All you need to do is indicate in the search bar of the
app your destination, and Google Maps will have you on your way in no time. Even better is the app's street view, which makes you know how the building or area you are looking for looks like.
WhatsApp makes it easy to communicate with your social network. All you need is a WiFi connection or prepaid data. It doesn't matter your location - if you are at the beach or inside your hotel room, you can chat on the go with this
messaging app.
Hint:
Check if WhatsApp is available in the country you travel to. Some countries like Saudi Arabia and China have banned the app. You may have to use another messaging app if its not available in the destination country.

different language in real time.
Food Delivery Apps
Grab some great meals with food delivery apps like Uber Eats, Food Panda, Rappi and iFood. Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes and DoorDash are popular, especially in North America, but in some countries, you may have to
use a local option. For instance, Food Panda is the local food delivery app in Southeast Asia. Rappi and iFood are also the go-to delivery apps in Latin America.

You'll need these apps to get you to all the fun places you have been daydreaming about. Ride hailing apps are safer than calling a cab on the street. Besides, most of them rely on Google Maps, so they make it easy to find your destination without you having to get into a tangle with drivers about your
destination. Uber and Lyft are popular in North America and Europe, and most places in the world. But if you are in Southeast Asia, try Grab or Cabify if you are in Latin America.
