EASY-PEASY HOMEMADE BABY CEREAL RECIPES - PART 3

OATMEAL CEREAL
Takes 15 minutes to cook.
Ingredients:
- A quarter (1/4) cup of ground oats
- A cup of water
- Breast or formula milk
- Some fruits (strawberries and grapefruits) and nuts (walnuts)
Method:
- Boil some water, add in ground oats, and stir continuously
- Let it simmer on low heat until you have the desired thickness
- Take it off the heat and let it cool
- Add in breast or formula milk, some fruits and nuts
Storage:
Keep refrigerated in storage trays placed inside zip-lock bags (before adding breast or formula milk)

BARLEY CEREAL
Takes 15 minutes to cook.
Ingredients:
- A quarter (1/4) cup of barley powder
- A cup of water
- Breast or formula milk
Method:
- Boil some water, add in barley powder, and stir continuously
- Let it simmer on low heat until you have the desired thickness
- Take it off the heat and let it cool
- Add in breast or formula milk, some fruits and nuts
Storage:
Keep refrigerated in storage trays placed inside zip-lock bags (before adding breast or formula milk)

Hints:
- All water used for cooking should be filtered
- All whole grains should be ground with a food processor
- Cereals can be stored but they are best served fresh
