6. HERBAL TEAS
Teas brewed from herbs like hibiscus, peppermint and chamomile are great for winters. However, you can ice your teas or drink them at room temperature during the hot summer weather. 7. FRUIT-INFUSED WATER
Fruits soaked in water make a much better hydrating drink than fruit juices. Fruits soaked in water have their sugar content diluted, and this increases their hydrating abilities. 8. CUCUMBER JUICE OR CUCUMBER-INFUSED WATER
Cucumbers have a high water content which naturally makes them hydrating. They are made of 90% water. A glass of cucumber juice or cucumber-infused water can be the perfect choice when you need a hydrating, cooling boost on a hot summer day.
Staying hydrated is so important during the summer. When temperatures rise, we sweat a lot and drain out our body fluids. Dehydration can harm the body since more than 60% of its composition is water, and our organs need it to function. It can lead to loss of strength and stamina and affect kidney function. So take your pick of one of these hydrating drinks and drink your way to a healthy you!
